Keys to Growing a Group
1. Realize that you are a "Leader Developer"
2. Realize that every member in your group has the potential to be a leader
3. Set goals for group muliplication (i.e. every year we will have at least one new group)
4. Identify and develop new leaders:
-who do you think "can do what I do?"
-encourage them outside the group
-ask them to lead a session (while you are there)
-give them advice and critique outside the group
-ask them to substitute in your absence
-ask them to be a co-leader
5. Tell them they can do it and help them sign up for leader training
6. Encourage them to go on an Encounter (and go with them if you haven't gone yourself)
7. Leave the group (so that someone else can lead, as you start another group)
