We will combine communion with the Advent season and take time during each service in December at Shepherd Agua Dulce to prepare ourselves for celebrating the birth of Jesus. Oftentimes, we forget to truly reflect on this season of Advent—the four weeks leading up to Christmas Day. Our goal through this candle lighting is to help guide us through the Advent season as we prepare to celebrate the good news of Jesus’ birth.
